January 16, 2023: Mollie Isaacs will do a hybrid Zoom presentation titled “Abstracts with Impact”.
Abstracts are the poetry of photography. They allow your imagination & your creativity to soar. Abstracts allow you to incorporate line, shape, form & color to create images that are unique & artistic. And, it allows you to be completely free of rules or restrictions. This program will show you how to find abstract subjects, plus how to create beautiful images from ordinary things you see every day. You will be taken step-by-step through the creative process. You will see the basic scene or subject & then the resulting abstract image. You will learn how to find abstracts in a variety of subjects including cars, water, birds, flowers, landscapes, shells, glassware & more. This program will open your eyes to all the creative possibilities around us. Mollie will show you how to turn basic things we see every day into compelling images that will catapult your photography to a higher level.
