About The Berks Photographic Society

Berks Photographic Society is a charitable, non-profit and tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. Gifts and donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

The Berks Photographic Society was established in 1938 as the Berks Camera Club.

We provide both amateur and professional photographers with a unique opportunity and organization to engage in their pursuit of the most satisfying and inspiring hobby: capturing light.

Our regular programs are held at 7:00 P.M. EST the first and third Mondays of the month from September to June at the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, Suite 326, in Reading, Pennsylvania.  In addition to our regular meetings, we also host a variety of workshops, seminars, and meetups.  Please see the Events Calendar for the most current listing of events.

The Berks Photographic Society also provides photographic support and services to other non-profit organizations and the community.  We are a non-profit organization of active enthusiasts working in the mediums of digital, color, black and white, and print photography.

We are members of the Delaware Valley Council of Camera Clubs (DVCCC) and the Photographic Society of America (PSA) .
