SUMMARY:Joshua Cripps will present “Telephoto Photography for Landscapes” via Zoom.
DESCRIPTION:For pure storytelling\, nothing beats a telephoto lens. However\, shooting with a telephoto comes with a suite of technical\, creative\, and compositional challenges. In this presentation\, Josh will teach us how to use a long lens to create stunning landscape images. He will include composition techniques\, ways to add depth and dimension\, the different lenses he uses\, and more. \nJosh is a wilderness landscape photographer living in beautiful Mammoth Lakes\, California. He feels that the power of landscape photography lies in capturing the magic of real moments experienced in nature. Josh believes that every photo should tell a story and should show the viewer exactly what was most special to the photographer in any given moment. This is how he shoots and loves to teach\, as well. Details to follow. \nMollie Isaacs is a professional photographer who specializes in Nature\, Wildlife\, Flowers & Abstracts. She is passionate about photography and loves to share that passion by teaching others. Early in her career\, she studied with Ansel Adams and Joyce Tenneson. She has won the Kodak Gallery Award 14 times\, considered by some to be the “Oscar” of photography. Her work is in the Permanent Collection of the International Photography Hall of Fame & has been exhibited at Epcot Center in Disney World & Grand Central Terminal in NYC. Isaacs runs Awake The Light Photo Workshops & Tours\, offers online webinars & personally leads photo workshops around the country and beyond.
