SUMMARY:tour of the Murals in West Reading lead by Artist  Michael L Miller
DESCRIPTION:The outing will be a tour of the Murals in West Reading lead by Artist  Michael L Miller . In the last 20 years Michael has coordinated over 50 public art projects and he has partnered with the Director of the West Reading Community Revitalization Foundation to produce about 30 murals 1 block off Penn Avenue in West Reading. Michael has kindly agreed to lead a tour of the murals that will last about 1 1/2 hours. \nDATE : Saturday June 10th 2023\nTIME :  Meet at 9am \nWHERE TO MEET: We will meet at 4th and Cherry Streets in West Reading Behind Benchwarmers Coffee shop.\n \nI hope to see as many people as possible for what will be a wonderful photographic opportunity as well as a wonderful way to learn more about the fabulous murals from Michael Miller.\nPlease let me know if you plan to attend.  I can be reached at email  ivanbub@ comcast.net or by phone 610-568-2267.

SUMMARY:Headshot Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Rick Shay and Kim Sweimler will conduct a Headshot Workshop on Saturday\, June 10\, 2023 from 10 AM to 2 PM in BPS Suite 326 at the GoggleWorks. This is an in-person event only (event will not be available via Zoom). This will be a free session\, limited to dues-current BPS members only. An RSVP to Kim Sweimler at kim.sweimler@berksphotographic.com is required if you plan to attend the event. There will be a presentation covering Patterns of Light\, Light Modifications\, Types of Lighting\, Controlling the Lighting\, and a review of the variety of available hardware for successfully capturing headshots. Following the presentation there will be a hands-on demonstration of the techniques and hardware covered in the presentation as well as an opportunity for participants to practice the techniques. If you plan on participating in the hands-on portion of the workshop\, make sure to bring along your camera.
